The Danish jazz bassist and composer Anne Mette Iversen is one of the most exciting contemporary voices in jazz. From 1998 to 2012 Iversen lived in New York City, but since then Berlin has been her home. She has 6 albums out consisting exclusively of her original music, and the lastest So Many Roads made it into both Downbeat’s, The Village Voice’s and The New York City Jazz Record’s Best of 2014 lists. Throughout 2016 she is Composer in Residence for the leading Swedish Big Band Norrbotten Big Band.
