Poland, Chile and Ukraine: Jazz World Photo 2019.

As usual, in March of every year, fans of jazz photography look at Trutnov  (Czech Republic) with special expectation.

The JAZZ WORLD PHOTO exhibition has just celebrated its sixth edition and is already considered the most important annual event in terms of jazz photography.

Three photographers of three different nationalities (Poland, Chile and Ukraine) have been awarded the first three prizes of the contest.

The creators of the contest have exceeded expectations one more year.

More than 300 photographers from around the world have presented their work.

A selection of 30 photographs constitute the exhibition and among them the three winners are chosen.

The exhibition created in each annual call is presented in Trutnov and later travels to galleries and exhibition halls around the world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once again, and in view of the works presented, we can say that Jazz photography is in very good health and arouses more interest every year.

Didier Jallais (France), as the winner of the 2018 edition, has been part of the jury and has presented an individual exhibition
